Willie Edward Brown passed away on Monday, June 27, 2022. He was born on April 8, 1957, in Asheville, NC to the late Rufus E. Brown and Annie E. Whiteside Brown.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by wife, Angela A. Brown; son, Mario Folston; brothers, Rufus E. Brown, Jr. and Johnny M. Brown; sisters, Eugenia P. Brown and Annie R. Brown.

Left to cherish his memory is daughter, Cleo Folston; stepson, Tony Folston; brothers, Robert E. Brown and Darrell Brown; sisters, Shirley Dillingham (Dudley) and Eva M. Lewis; 5 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews; other family members and friends.

A Memorial Service will be held from 11:00am-12:30pm Saturday, July 9, 2022, at the Lee Garden Heights Community Building, 10 Lee Garden Lane, Asheville, NC.
