Louise Wilson Beavers passed away on Thursday, July 16, 2020 at her residence. She was born on August 2, 1936 in Greenwood, SC to the late Alonzo Wilson and Willie Mae Henderson Wilson.
Mrs. Beavers was a member of Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church where she was a deaconess, former Sunday school teacher, former member of the Senior Choir and Kitchen Committee. She initially furnished the church kitchen with a range, refrigerator and freezer. She was also a member of the Daughters of Jerusalem #330, Order of the Eastern Star. Mrs. Beavers was employed as a cook with King Arthur’s Court, Asheville Airport Restaurant and The Mediterranean Restaurant downtown.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by son, Frankie Wilson; grandson, Randall Stephon Beavers; brother, James Wilson.
Left to cherish her memory is husband Jasper Leonardo Beavers, Jr.; daughter, Muriel R. Wilson; sons, Ricky R. Beavers (Angela), Michael D. Beavers, Randall W. Beavers (Verdie), Marlon J. Beavers; sister, Josephine Wilson; 10 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; 7 great-great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral Service will be 1:00 PM, Wednesday, July 22, 2020, Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Sunset Cemetery.
