Mr. Keith D. Conway, Tee-Pee to most, was born on March 17, 1956 in Asheville, NC, to the late Mrs. Eula Mae Jones Mack and James Conway.
He attended Asheville City Schools. He loved to drive around and listen to music. Tee-Pee was a deep conversationalist, if he talked to you. He loved having the ability to move and walk this earth freely. This was very important to him. He wanted to live without restriction and he did!
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brother, Woodrow Wilson, Jr.; sister, Gail Bates Tucker.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife Mary Ann and four children, Cindy, Kim, Sam and James; his children, Nikithra Kiki Lemons (Stephen) of Atlanta, GA, Apryl Welch (Antjuan) of Tennessee, Lahoma Banks of California, Keith Dillingham of Asheville, NC; sisters, Sharon Bates, Roselyn Bates, Vickie Williams; brother-in-law, Tommie Tucker; grandchildren, Kevetta, Stephanie, Antjuan II, Brooklyn, Daejhun, Keomi; 3 great-grandchildren, Cay'Den, Christopher Jr. and Ava; a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Funeral service will be 1:00 pm Wednesday, May 5, 2021 in the chapel of Ray Funeral & Cremation Service. Public viewing will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Freedom Christian Church Cemetery. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, attendance will be limited to 200. Attendees must wear a face covering, sanitize hands and social distance.
