Kedrick Tevon Green “Cricket”, 29, passed away on Thursday, November 18, 2021. He was born in Asheville, NC on September 15, 1992, to Terria Shade Lytle and the late Errol Green.
Cricket graduated from Community High School in 2011 and attended South College. He was a member of St. John Baptist Church where he was a drummer. Cricket loved fast cars, sports and his favorite team was the San Francisco 49ers. He also had a love for fishing. He will be remembered for his infectious sense of humor and his contagious smile.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by grandfather, Eugene Green; grandmother, Louise Shade; great-grandmother, Frances Shade.
Left to cherish his memory are his loving parents, Donald and Terria Shade Lytle; sister, Kia Green; brother, Kewan Shade; precious children, Ky’Li Terria and Khai Denver; special friend, Tiara Teal; special aunts, Tammy Wallace (Steve), Eleanor Simuel; special uncles, James Shade (Joan), Curtis Shade; grandmother, Sandra Green; grandfathers, James Collins and Isaac Wilson; special cousin, Eboni Shade; many other family members and friends.
Public viewing will be from 12:00-6:00 Friday, November 26, 2021 in the chapel of Ray Funeral & Cremation Service. Funeral service will be at 1:00 pm Saturday, November 27, 2021 at St. John Missionary Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Sunset Cemetery.
