Diana Lytle Williams, 66, passed away Thursday, January 19, 2023. She was born November 7, 1956 in Chicago, IL to the late Florene Davidson Lytle and Willie Lee Lytle. She attended the public schools and was a graduate of Asheville High School Class of 1975. Diana was previously employed as a nursing assistant with Mission Hospital.
Diana loved spending time with her grandchildren and other family members. She would go to Goodwill and yard sales just to get out of the house. She loved to find that special bargain and hang with her sisters, especially Carolyn, they were usually two peas in a pod. Diana was EVERYBODY’S favorite. She didn’t have a negative bone in her body, and she never judged you. Diana never met a stranger and would help anyone who needed assistance. She was a special person and touched everyone she came across in her own unique way. Her family was her entire world, nothing meant more to her than her family all getting along together. Even though she was the little sister she always took care of everyone. No matter how much pain she endured, she always put everyone else first. There wasn’t a person who didn’t meet Diana that didn’t fall in love with her. Diana always put God first and no matter the situation she would always tell you to pray about it and give it to God.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Steven Williams; siblings, Willie Lytle, Jr., Robert Lytle, Ronald Davidson; niece, Jessica Lytle.
