Curtis Antonio Jackson, 47, passed away on Thursday, June 3, 2021, at Mission Hospital. He was born in Asheville, NC on November 29, 1973, to the late Joseph Dixon, Jr. and Charlene Jackson Dixon.
Curtis graduated from Asheville High School, Class of 1992. He was an employee of the Asheville Housing Authority for over 20 years. When he wasn’t working, he enjoyed spending time with his daughter. Curtis was an avid fan of the Denver Broncos and the Los Angeles Lakers.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Left to cherish his memory is mother, Charlene Dixon; son, Daquez Marquise Jackson; daughter, Kaydence Washington; sisters, T’Keyscha Mosley, Tiffaney Dixon, Mahoganee Mosley; grandmother, Katie Mae Dixon; many other family members and friends.
Public viewing will be from 1:00-6:00 pm Wednesday, June 9, 2021 in the chapel of Ray Funeral & Cremation Service. Funeral service will be at 2:00 pm Thursday June 10, 2021 at Nazareth First Missionary Baptist Church.
