Wyvonia “Vone” Fullwood Simpson was born December 7, 1946 in Asheville, North Carolina to the late David and Pearl D’anner Freeman Fullwood. To this union, four children were born: Annie Mae, David, Wyvonia, and Bryant. To this union, four children were born: Annie Mae, David, Wyvonia, and Bryant.
Wyvonia graduated from Stephens-Lee High School, Asheville, North Carolina in 1965 and married Army Captain Charles H. Simpson from Canton, North Carolina in 1966. To this union four children were born: Reginald, Brian, Charles, and Kimberly. Charles and Wyvonia enjoyed life together with their two surviving children until his death in 2004.
Wyvonia’s hobbies and special interests included reading and studying the Bible, gardening, sewing, crafting, fashions, traveling, going to the beach, and baking with her daughter. She will always be remembered and loved by a host of family and friends who enjoyed participating in these activities with her. Memories have been etched in their hearts forever.
Wyvonia was predeceased in death by her mother and father, her husband, and two sons Reginald and Brian.
Those left to cherish her memory include a loving daughter, Kimberly Simpson of Pensacola, FL; a loving son, Charles (Nicole) Simpson of Mobile, AL; a loving sister, Annie Mae Young of Stockbridge, GA; loving brothers, David Fullwood, Jr. of Seaside, CA and Bryant Fullwood of Asheville, NC along with a host of brothers in-law, sisters-in law, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Celebration of Life program will be held on October 27, 2019, 4:00 p.m. at The Palafox House, 196 N Palafox St., Pensacola, Florida with visitation from 2:30 pm to 3:30 pm. Fellowship, food, and refreshments immediately following program.
